  • What is an escape room
    An escape room is an exciting interactive game where players are "trapped" in a room and must work together to solve clues and escape the room before running out of time.
  • What ages are appropriate?
    All rooms are suitable for adults. Some rooms are rated PG-13 and only suitable for teens 13 or older; these rooms generally have a higher fear or gore level. PG rooms are fun for ages 7 and up. All players between 7-14 must be accompanied by one parent or a responsible adult, and a waiver must be signed on their behalf prior to entry. Age requirements are strictly enforced and can be found under each theme description on the "Our Rooms" tab on our website. We have a right to refuse entry to anyone under the minimum age.
  • Are infants, toddlers/children under 7 or pets allowed?
    Unfortunately NO, Escape Rooms are not safe or suitable for infants, toddlers, young kids or pets; there are movements, sounds, etc... that may startle them and cause a disturbance for you during your mission and for any other participants in the room. We ask that you please honor this so that it is an enjoyable experience for all parties. Rooms are either rated PG (ages 7+) or PG13; please see age appropriateness for more details.
    Service dogs are allowed - but you are responsible for letting us know ahead of time to make accommodations with other guests that may have allergies or a fear of dogs.
  • What's available and do I need an appointment or can I just walk in?
    We are currently only taking advanced reservations during COVID-19! We are not taking walk-ins during this time. After we resume normal business protocols, we still recommend making a reservation in advance - we cannot guarantee a spot without one, especially during our peak times. Please give us a call or check out or site for REAL-TIME availabilities. Choose the "Book Now" option and then date/time, select "Escape Room Mission Participants" and the drop-down menu will tell you how many slots are still available. Enter your information to complete your booking (*a small booking fee may apply). Or call us at 608.833.8463 and we will gladly assist you with your reservation. Payment in full is due at the time of scheduling.
  • How long does the experience last?
    Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to receive your mission; you will then have 60 minutes to escape the room. Plan on 1.25 hours to complete your total immersion experience but it could be less if you're a handful of smarties!
  • What time do you start the mission and what is your late policy?
    You must arrive 15 minutes ahead of time! As a courtesy to us and others (if you are running late) please call us at 608.833.8463. We begin the rules and orientation prior to your mission time and start the mission precisely on time. Once we have escorted everyone into the portals, we cannot allow others to enter. Unfortunately, if you arrive after the time of your appointment, you may lose out on participating. We will try to reschedule you that day if possible, or you may lose time off your mission if we have to start you late - so the groups after you don't miss out on their adventure. There is a great possibility you won't be able to play that day if you arrive late and we are booked solid.
  • What will you be doing to keep us safe during COVID-19 when you reopen after the ban is lifted?
    Your health is our top priority. We have put special measures in place to keep all guests safe both during and after their adventure. We have increased the frequency and thoroughness of disinfecting between each group. Hand sanitizer will be provided in designated areas. Staff will be following all social distancing guidelines and screened daily to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free.
  • What guidelines are expected of your customers and staff during COVID-19 during reopening?
    As we begin our phased reopening, we will be following the steps below to ensure the safety of our guests and staff:
    1. A wellness check will be performed before entering the facility. All individuals that have been recently exposed to the Covid-19 virus or are showing symptoms should remain home. Please give us a call so we are able to discuss your options.
    2. All employees and guests must wear a mask in common areas. Don’t have a mask? No problem! You will be able to purchase a mask either in advance or upon your arrival. Guests are welcome to remove their masks once they are inside of the escape room, but will be required to put them back on before exiting back into the common area.
    3. Use of hand sanitizer will be required before entering the facility. Escape In Time will provide hand sanitizer both before you enter the facility and in designated, common areas. Individual hand sanitizer will also be available for purchase.
    4. Social distancing will be required in common areas. All individuals that are not within the same party must keep at least a 6-foot distance from each other.
    5. All escape room experiences will be private! Until further notice, your adventure will only include your party. Once tickets have been successfully booked online into an empty room, there will not be an option to add more individuals. If you’d like to add more tickets to your group, please call and our associates will be happy to assist you.
  • HELP... I want out! What if we can't solve the room?
    You will be monitored during your mission and will be able to communicate with our Escape Specialists. In an emergency, you can open the door yourself to get out. You are allowed up to three hints, which you can ask for as needed. If you don't escape within the 60 minutes, please come back and try again!
  • How many people will be in our group?
    In general, we like to have 6-8 people in each room working together to escape. Depending on the size of your group, you could be paired with others (during COVID-19 all groups will have a private experience with only you and your guets). Working with others can be a benefit, as some of our clues require more than 1 person to activate. After COVID-19, if you prefer to have only your party in a room, please secure all 8 tickets or use the "Book the Room" option for a private mission.
  • Can we rent the entire room for ourselves?
    Yes, please choose the "Book Now" and then "Book the whole Escape Room" option on our website! We do recommend 8 people per room for the best experience but you are allowed up to 12 people maximum in a privately rented room. You will get a discounted rate for 9-12 people. *If you are trying to rent an entire room online, and it only shows less than 8 available spots, please select another time for that room. Make sure you are selecting the drop down menu on the "Book the whole Escape Room" instead of "Escape Room Mission Participants".
  • Do you accept Large Groups or Corporate Outings (13 or more)?
    Yes, we can do large groups! You may either choose to book online using the cart feature for more than 1 room during our Public days (Thursdays-Sundays) or there is a minimum requirement of 13 participants for us to open on a non-public day at either 2pm or 4pm (subject to staffing & availability). On those private days, we only schedule during daytime hours (Tuesdays/Wednesdays) between 12:30pm-5:30pm; private days must be booked a week in advance. If you need help or want to book on a private day, please give us call us to assist you with scheduling a large group!

  • Can we choose which room we want to be in?
    Yes, of course! When you schedule your appointment online, you can choose the room theme you like - we have several to choose from!
  • Are your rooms handicap accessible?
    There is an elevator to take you to the 2nd floor, and most of our rooms can handle a wheelchair - but our rooms do have some physical challenges. Please give us a call if you need special accommodations, or if you need help choosing the best rooms for you! Please read our full disclaimer before buying your tickets, there is no refund if someone is unable to participate.
  • Will it always be the same or do you change the rooms?
    Currently, we keep building new ones so the old ones have stayed the same so others get to play. If you have tried all of our rooms, please call us to find out if one of the rooms has changed, if the clues have changed or when we're planning on opening another!
  • Do you take cancellations or offer refunds?
    Unfortunately no. Just like movies, concerts, haunted houses, sports and other ticketed events, we are unable to give a refund -- NO EXCEPTIONS! When you reserve a spot it is yours, and we are unable to rent it out to someone else if you fail to make it... But we can reschedule your ticket(s) with adequate notice! Requests must be handled a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled event - This 48 hour advanced notice gives us time to try to fill some of your spots, but there's no guarantee we will be able to do so. If you must rebook with less than 48 hours notice, you will be subject to a 50% rebooking fee - as this is not enough notice for us to fill those empty spots.
  • How do i request to reschedule my booking?
    We do require a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled event to reschedule a booking, so that we still have the opportunity to fill that time slot. If you call or email more that 48 hours in advance, we are happy to assist you in rebooking your appointment without penalty (However we must do this on our backend). Please do not attempt to rebook yourself online - we will not give refunds, an agent must assist you with your rebooking. If your booking is within 48 hours, you may still rebook your appointment, but a 50% rebooking fee will be applied (due in full) at the time of rebooking.
  • I have a Gift Certificate or coupon. Where do I enter my Code?
    After you have selected your number of people, date/time and room preference (on the last page before making a payment) you will see places to enter your Gift Certificate/Promo Code or Group Voucher. If you have a gift certificate, coupon or redemption voucher, you do not need to bring it with you. Please note there may be restrictions with third party deals (read the fine print on your VOUCHER for details).
  • Do you require a waiver and can I sign the waiver beforehand to save time?
    Yes! All parties MUST pay for a ticket and sign a waiver; we recommend you fill out the waiver ahead of time by clicking the link below; or there is a direct link located on your confirmation email; lastly, a waiver kiosk is available at our facility, once you arrive - remember it's important to be here 15 minutes before the start of your mission. You will need to know the date and time of your mission to fill out the form. Minors must have an adult (18+) sign a waiver on their behalf. Parents/Guardians/Chaperones may use one waiver to sign for all the minors in their group. If you are switching players, have the new participant sign a waiver, no need to call to notify us of the player change.
