An Escape Room is an exciting interactive game where players are “trapped” in a room and must work together to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape the room before running out of time.
We are not like other Escape Rooms… Our themed rooms are created by professional theme park builders and artists to provide you with a fully-immersive, and unique experience! -

Fridays: 1:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturdays: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
Sundays: 11:30 AM - 6:00 PM
CLOSED:

HOLIDAYS: We are also closed for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve (closed after 6pm).
INCLIMATE WEATHER: We will remain open, unless the City of Madison deems streets unsafe for travel. If public transportation shuts down, we will call each ticket holder to reschedule your appointment. No-shows will be a forfeit of tickets. Please make sure to give yourself enough time when driving or taking public transportation to arrive at the mandatory 15 minute early arrival time, as roads may be icy or traffic might be slower. -
What is the price?
Individual tickets: $31.99+tax per person (2 to 8 people max)
Private room before 5 PM: $229.95+tax (2 to 12 people max)
Private room after 5 PM: $299.95+tax (2 to 12 people max) -
How many people will be in my group? Will I be booked with strangers?
We allow up to 8 participants to book into each escape room. If you book fewer than 8 individual tickets, others will likely book into the same mission with you.
If you would prefer a private experience, there are two ways to guarantee one: Secure all 8 individual tickets, which will restrict anyone else from booking into that same mission with you.
OR Secure a private room, which will allow you to bring up to 12 participants max (or as few as 2), though we recommend 6-8 participants for the best experience. -
What are the minimum age and chaperone requirements?
Each escape room has a strict age requirement (no exceptions). Anyone under the minimum age will be asked to leave, without a refund (see each room description for details).
All guests must be a minimum age of 7 to enter the facility (no infants/toddlers allowed). Escape rooms are either a minimum age requirement of 7+ or 13+ (due to gore and fear factor).
Chaperones: To play without an adult chaperone, all participants must be at least 15 years old. If any participant is under the age of 15, a ticketed adult chaperone is required inside the escape room at all times. -
Do you accept large groups or corporate outings?
Yes, large groups are welcome! You may reserve multiple rooms at the same time-slot if you wish to bring a large number of participants.
Each room can accommodate a maximum of 12 participants with the purchase of a private room (although we recommend between 6-8 for the best experience).

Do I need to make an appointment? How do I book?
Yes, all bookings require appointments in advance. We do not allow walk-ins, due to limited availability and set times.
Please book in advance by using our convenient online booking calendar. All availability is in real-time and times are set. Your non-refundable payment is due in full at the time of scheduling.
Select your desired date/time/room (based on min age requirements) from the calendar and enter your information to complete your booking online.
Your whole party must arrive 15 minutes early for check-in, rules and orientation - so plan accordingly.
Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your waiver, which must be filled out in advance. -
How do I redeem a Gift Certificate, Replay Certificate, Group Voucher or Expired Code?
All codes must be entered at the time of booking, we cannot apply any codes retroactively.
Replays and Gift Certificates:
Select the date/time/room plus number of tickets you would like to purchase, and a corresponding box will appear underneath each individual ticket or private room. Click the link “ADD REPLAY/GC CODE” and add one code only to each text box provided.
Group Vouchers:
Choose a valid date (Th/Fri only) and one of the four valid rooms (see your voucher for details). Select the appropriate package, either a 4 pack or 6 pack (whichever corresponds with your purchase). Click the link “ADD GROUP VOUCHER CODE”, and add one code only to the text box provided (limit one per customer).
Expired Codes:
Call us at 608-833-8463 during our business hours (Th-Sun). Expired codes are only worth face value and must be applied by an agent on our backend, at the time of booking (some restrictions still apply).

Do you offer refunds, or may I reschedule my booking?
All transactions are non-refundable.
To reschedule:
We require more than 48 hours advance notice, to avoid a penalty.
With less than 48 hours advance notice, a penalty of 50% of the cost of the rescheduled tickets will be collected, for lack of notice.
Call us at 608-833-8463 during our business hours (Th-Sun). Any penalties will be collected at the time of rebooking (all restrictions still apply).

When do we need to arrive?
How long does it last?
What if we’re late?Arrival time: Your whole party must arrive 15 minutes prior to your mission start time for check-in, rules and orientation.
Countdown Timer: You will have 60 minutes inside the room to complete your mission. Missions begin promptly at the designated start time (or possibly earlier).
Adhering to that mandatory 15-minute early arrival time is the only way to guarantee that we will be able to get you back to your room before the timer starts, and get your full hour inside your room.
Length: Plan on the whole experience taking about 1.25 hours.
We recommend making any restaurant reservations for after your Escape Room mission, so that you aren’t delayed.
Late or no-show participants: Will forfeit time (if booked privately) or forfeit the entire mission (if booked with others), without a refund.
To be fair to others, we start each game on time and cannot allow late participants to enter once the game has begun.

What are your mask and Covid-19 policies?
Masks are now optional. Masks will be provided at check-in, upon request. Social distancing and use of hand sanitizer is encouraged before/after entry.

Do I need to fill out a waiver each time?
Yes, a waiver will need to be filled out every time, for each mission with us.
Adults over the age of 18 will need to fill out their own waiver.
Minors will need to have an adult sign the waiver on their behalf, prior to their mission.

Are the rooms wheelchair-accessible?
Most of our rooms are wheelchair-accessible, but will require at least one person capable of completing physical tasks.
Please call us in advance during business hours (Th - Sun) for special accommodations, or for assistance with selecting the best room for you.
An elevator at the entrance can bring you to the 2nd floor. -
May I bring my emotional support or companion animal?
Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed in the facility.
Licensed service dogs are permitted; however, please contact us ahead of time so that we can make accommodations and assist in choosing the best room options. -
Do the rooms change? Are you opening any new rooms soon?
New rooms: Stay tuned on social media for updates… a new room may be coming soon!
Our current rooms: Escape in Time is not like other Escape Room facilities. Our rooms are high tech, extremely detailed and take several months to build - which is why we don’t change them out often.
Our other company, Thrill Builders, is an amazing team who designs and install rooms all over America for other companies like Disney, National Geographics, Six Flags, plus many more… and we are fortunate to have them create such immersive rooms for us too. -
Do you have a party/meeting room, allow catering or have a place for cake/presents?
PARTY/MEETING ROOM: We do not currently offer additional space for rent, and ask that you make other arrangements for any cake/presents, or meetings/lectures/speakers.
FOOD/DRINKS/ALCOHOL/TOBACCO: Not permitted.
There are many parks, restaurants, and other establishments in the area that would love your support. Please contact them directly to find out what they can offer! -
